ACCOUNTANTS AND AUDITORS
Tho Council of tho New Zealand Accountants and Auditors' Association met in Wellington te~day, Mr. E. W. Evans, of Auckland (president), in the chair. The other members present were \— Auckland: Messrs. G. W. Hutchison (registrar), Hemingway, and E. Whittou. Christchurch : Messrs. T. Compton (vice-president) and W. H. Cheesman. Dunedin: Mr. T. H. Thompson. Wel> lington : Messrs. J. C. Port, T. Forsyth, J. M. Fleming, W. A. Kellow, J. H. G. Rowley, and D. M'Kay (secretary). After transacting business in view of the annual meeting, the members of the council adjourned for lunch, after which they drove to Day's Bay in motorcars.
