BATHTUBS IN TRENCHES
AND STERILISATION OF SOLDIERS' CLOTHING. (Received March 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 7th March. The use of bathtubs in the trenches has led to tho opening of public subscriptions, also of a fund to cover- the expense of the sterilisation of soldiers' clothing. NEW ZEALANDER KILLED. LONDON, 6th March. Lieutenant Kenneth Thompson, of the India Cavalry, lately of Geraldine,' New Zealand, was killed 'at the Persian Gulf.
