BELGIAN CHURCHES DEMOLISHED
A PRIEST AND A MAYOR SHOT. (Received March 8, 9 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, 7th, March. Every church in the Dixmude district has been damaged and forty are demolished. The Abbe D'Emen, of Essen, was shot in his churchyard, and the burgomaster of Handzoeme was also shot.
