It had been decided to ask tho commandant's leave for some lady collectors to visit the training camp on Friday next to take up a collection in connection with St. John Ambulance Association Annual Ambulance Day. As it was subsequently objected that it was unfair to ask the troops, who are secrifieing a grent deal to servo their country, to contribute, it was decided to abandon the idea, and concentrate energies for the following day in Wellington. As a sequel to the incident the objector has since donated £10 to gecuro Trpnthani Camp from the proposed "invasion."
