THE EARL 01? CADOGAN. (Received March 8, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, 7th March. . The death is announced of the Earl of Cadogan. > (The Earl was bom on 12th May, 1840, and succeeded his father in the title in 1873, at which time he was M.P. for Bath. In 1875 he was appointed Under Secretary for War; from 1878 to 1880 was Secretary for the C'olonies ', and from 1886 to 1892 Lord Piivy Seal. From 1895 to 1902 he was Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. His heir is i his son, discount Chelsea, born on 30th May, 1869.] ■i ______
