At the Supreme Court to-day, Claude Osmond Barker, alias Jameson, was found guilty of having, at Riccarton, stolen a motor cycle, the property of Harold Goggin. Sentence was deferred. Charles Jeremiah Cosgrove (22), for assault with intent to commit a serious offence at Orepuki. was sentenced to two years' reformative treatment.
