AUSTRIAN AMBASSADOR AT ROME RETURNS TO VIENNA
ITALY INCREASING STRENGTH OP HER ARMY (Times and Sydney Sun Services.) LONDON, 24th December. The Austrian Ambassador at Rome has returned to Vienna, ostensibly for Christinas, but it is an open secret that his departure is due to the fact that the activity of Prince Buelow, the German Ambassador, is alarming Austria, and it is feared will widen the breach between >ft-aly and Austria. The Ambassador is understood to have been recalled to Vienna to receive special instructions. Italy is forming new regiments of infantry and artillery.
