FRENCH BATTLESHIP DAMAGED
BY AN AUSTRIAN SUBMARINE. LONDON, 24th December. An Austrian submarine in the Straits of Otranto fired two torpedoes, one of them.damaging a French battleship, but not doing serious injury. WOUNDED DEALT WITH FIGURES FROM PARIS. PARIS, 24th December. From 15th September to 30th November the Army Medical Service dealt with 489.733 wounded.
