ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE
♦ WELLINGTON DIVISION. At the. annual meeting of the Wellington. Division of St. John Ambulance Brigade Overseas, held in the rooms of the Star Boating Club, Mr. J. P. Hislop, superintendent, presided. The annual report and balance-sheet showed that the division was in a satisfactory iposition. Members had rendered good service in many •directions, and had saved much pain and' inconvenience, by being at hand to re»ider "first aid." Tho following were appointed for the yenr: — Superintendent, Mr. J. P. Hislop; First Officer, Mr. J. Niool; Acting-First Officer, Mr. W. W. Duttori ; Sergeants, Messrs. W. W. Button and F. Ward ; Corporals, Messrs. A. Pleasant and A. 0. Richardson.; Inspector of Sto/es, Mr. D. M'Ginnity : Manajjei.iont Committee, Messrs. Dutt-on, Ward, and Brownrigg; Secretary and Tre-e-urer, Mr. H. M. Christie. _ Several members of the dhision are serving with tho Samoan Expeditionary Force, while othors aro in camp with the troops foi Europe. Tho f-eorefcary of the division U Mr. 11. M. Christie.
