BROUGHAM HILL TENNIS CLUB
♦ Tho Brougham Hill Tennis Club held its fifteenth annual meeting last evening. There was a good attendance of members. Mr. G. . N. Goldie occupied the chair, and complimented tho club on its performance last season in -winning five out of seven events. It waß decided to open the courts on Saturday , 26th September. The election of officers resulted as follows : — President, Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, M.L.C. ; vice-presidents, Sir Kenneth Douglas, Mesßis. G. N. Goldie, G. Winder, J. Hunter, G. A. Hurley ; delftgates to W.P.L.T.A., Messrs. D. M. Keani and Fleming Ross; management committee, Messrs. D. M. Kean, S. Roberts, G. Grace, M. F. Instone, and, H. V. Howe; hon. secretary, Mr. W. E. Howej hon. treasurer, Mr. J. A. B. Howe. Votes of thanks to the press, retiring officers, and the chairman, wore passed.
