Stephenson, postmaster, Wyndham, promoted to fhe position of postmaster, Waihi. Mr. J. A. Algie, postmaster, Queenstown, promoted to th© position of postmaster, Taihape, in plaoo of Mr. J. Owens, who is retiring on superannuation. Mr. J. R. Crocker, postmaster, Waiau, replaces Mr." Algie at Queenstown. ' ' Mr. W. Cooper, counter clerk, Dunedin, appointed _to the position of 6enior clerk there, which has been raited in grade. Mr. A. E. St. Clair, counter clerk, is appointed to a similar position in Auckland. Mr. J. Morton, senior telephone ex,change clerk, Napier, appointed senior .telegraphist and exchange clerk, Hastings. He is to be replaced in Napier by Mr. Horncman, of the Hastings Telephone Exchange.
