Playing at Newcastle, a Northern Districts team defeated New Zealand by 134 to 113. \ The New Zealand scores were: M'Cardle, Duncan", Parkinson, and Coltman, 16; Palliser, Reid, Marker, and Bush, 13 j Neave, Pavitt, Nixon, and Smith, 23 j Lewis, Coles, Naah, and Tasker, 16; Columb, Potter, Creagh, and Thompson, 26; Gallic, Shearman, Mason, and Sutcliffe, 19. Smith's and Thompson's were tho only rinks that secured a lead. INTERNATIONAL TROPHY. (Received July 13, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, 12th July. Scotland won the international bowls trophy, Ireland being second.
