INTERESTING LAW POINT
Judgment was given by "Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., to-day on an interesting point raised in the case Maginnity v. 'Maginnity, which alleged the disobedience of a maintenance order. Argument was heard last Monday. The parties had been, divorced, and the decree had since been made absolute. There was an order in existence at the time of the divorce, and arrears had mounted up since. Mr. H. F. O'Leary contended that the order ceased to exist when the divorce was granted. His. Worship agreed to cancel tho order and remit the arrears. Mi 1. R. Beere represented the complainant.
