SAMPLES PROM VINEYARD AT "VVAERENGA OPINIONS OF EXPERTS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.-- Copyright.) SYDNEY. 22nd May. A representative gathering of wine merchants met Mr. Blunow, a Government expert, at the New Zealand Government's Bureau, when test samples of tho 1909-10 vintage of light wines produced at the Government experimental vineyard at Waerenga wore shown. Mr. W R. Blow, New Zealand representative of the Tourist Department in Sydney, in introducing Mr. Blunow, said that _he looked forward to tho time when reciprocity between Australia and New Zealand would be an accomplished fact, _and that wine would be amongst tho products covered. Experts expressed the opinion that the wines were of good body, but capable of improvement as regards blending and finish. New Zealand should be an ideal champagne country, and trade could be made successful by careful handling, and careful selection of districts and wines. Interesting test samples from other districts Were also shown.
