MISSIONS TO SEAMEN
I i The orchestra, in connection with the . Wellington Working Men's Club provided a fine programme of vocal and in« i struniental music last night at the Seamen's Institute. Tho orchestra, undep { ' the conductorship of Mr. J. M'Glash&n, rendered the items "Keliilworth." i "Hobo Moko," "Dawn of Spring," and j "Comevilli." Miss Lindsay sang • "Somewhere a Voice is Calling," and j Mr. Rosenberg contributed two bari- ; tone solos. Mr. J. Wain, of the s.s. I Clan Macdonald, gave a rendering of I "You're as Welcome as the Flowers in 1 May." Mr. Ridell's trombone solo was encored. The Missioner (Mr. \V. E. Cocks) thanked the members of the Working Men's Club for its help, and in reply Mr. J. Andrews, the chairman of tho Entertainment Committee of the club, expressed the pleasure it afforded ' their members to be of any service to a society doing such effective 1 work as the Missions to Seamen in Wellington.
