SOUTHLAND LEAGUE
INVERCARGILL, 31st March. At a largely attended meeting held tonight thp constitution of the Southland League, a body formed to' advance the interests of the province, was considered and adopted. The movement is being taken up with much enthusiasm, and it was decided to invite applications for the position of secretary, at" a salary of £400 per annum, the secretary to devote his whole lime to the work of t lie league.
