KILBIRNIE SCHOOL OF MUSIC
The first annual concert by students of Mrs. L. D. Gaze's Kilbirnie School of Music was held last evening, and was patronised by an audience which filled the Kilbirnie Hall. The Rev. A. E. Hunt presided, the Mayor (Mi. J. P. Luke) being unable to attend > until late in the evening. The scholars gave a large number of vocal and instrumental solos, duets, part songs, and choruses, and Mr. Hunt contributed some enjoyable recitations. During the evening, Mrs. Luke distributed the prizes and certificates earned by the students during the year. The Mayor, at the conclusion -of the concert, gave a short address of encouragement to the .young people.
