RIFLE SHOOTING
The rifle-shooting tompetition for the ! Field Shield took place at Palmerston North on Saturday, and was won by the Hautere Club. The scores were : Ha.utere Club 867; Ngatiawa Club, 836; and Whareroa Club, 833. This is the fourth time that Hautere has won the trophy.
