Lord Haldane, Lord Chancellor, in replying to a deputation that waited on him to urge the admission of women to the legal profession, eaid he favoured the proposed Bill. He considered they ought to leave Nature, not the law, to determine women's disabilities. (Received March 30, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 29th March. The Lord Chancellor (Lord Haldane) informed a deputation that the Government was entirely favourable Lo a Bill admitting women lo practice as solicitors.
