DEFINITE RECOGNITION
RAILWAY COxMPANIES AND' UNIONS. COMMITTEES TO MEET. (By Telegraph.— Press Associsition.— Copyright.) (Received March 30. 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. 29th March. The railway companies have appointed a committee to meet a committee from the National Union Railwaymen's Executive to discuss employment conditions. Mr. Thomas, M.P., at a. meeting at Birmingham said that this was the first definite recognition of the union's power and responsibility. The companies' invitation would be accepted.
