FROZEN MEAT TRADE WHARF LABOURERS TO REFUSE TO LOAD CARCASES

Action is being taken by the Sydney, Wharf Labourers' Union which may have the effect of seriously hampering the export trade in meat. The secretary stated that at the 'last meeting of the union it was decided nob to handle, frozen meat for export until the prices for the local" trade weTe re-* duced to a normal level. This is to take effect on Monday. The secretary added tfiat extortionate prices were being charged, and the men were practically sacrificing themselves and__their wages for the benefit of all the" worktrs.
