A CHILD CONDUCTOR.
The Italian child conductor, Willie Ferrero, aged seven and a-half years, who recently conducted the Imperial orchestra at a command performance before the Tsar, also gave a performance before the Empress Marie and other members of the Royai family. He was presented by the Tsar with a gold watch with the Imperial arms set in diamonds and pearls. Young Ferrero was born in America. His parents are on the stage, and listening to music became part of his daily life. At two he began to show signs of talent.
