BOWLING VETERANS MATCH.

An interesting match was played on the Wellington Club's green yesterday between the veterans of the Wellington and Thorndon Clubs. The play was of a very high order, and the game proved highly enjoyable. The scores are as under, the ages of the players being shown in parenthesis :—: — Wellington : G. Evans (79), P. Drnmmond (76), W. Sim (75), J. Lockie (79), Thorndon : W. Jay (77), D. T. Stuart (75), M. Murdock ' (76), W. Freeman (82), 12. BUILDERS v. EMPLOYERS. A six-rink match between teams representing the Builders and Employers respectively was played on the Wellington Club's green yesterday afternoon.
