Mr. H. Baldwin, donor of the trophy, also addressed the gathering, stating that his object in presenting the trophy was to promote friendly rivalry and healthy competition among the brigadesmen. w , The cup war received on behalf of thto' winning team (Captain Slinn,- Foreman^ Doran, and Assistant -Foreman Collett)! by the former, while other trophies were presented to the following : — Foreman Doran, Lieutenant M'llvride, and Fir*;, men Bawker, Colletb.
