CHILDREN'S EYESIGHT
BLACK SLATES PREJUDICIAL. (By Tebgrapli.— Press Association.— Copyright,) (TIMES AND SYDNEY SUN SERVICES.) BERLIN, 25th March. Tests are being made as to the results of the alleged prejudicial effect on the eyesight of black slates and white pencils in schools. A slate has been invented with a dull white surface requiring the use of a black crayon or pegcil.
