BATTLE AT TORREON REBELS GAINING GROUND FEDERAL LOSSES.

The Federal losses are reported to be 700. The rebels are reported to be> steadily gaining ground. It is believed certain thai- they have captured the city. REPORT OF A REPULSE. (Received March 26, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON.. 25th March. The Mexican Embassy here has received news of the repulse of the rebels around Torreon. Details are not available.
