LITTLE RIVER FATALITY
(Hl' TELEGRAPH,- PKESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCK, 241h March. Mr. James Londugan, who was thrown from his horse at the Little River Railway Station, and admitted to the Christchurch Hospital yesterday, died there bet night. At'lhe inquest held to-day, Dr. Scott stated that the man never le*<ained consciousness niter his admittance to the hospital. Death was due to a fracture at the base of the skull. Evidence was given that deceased was rid' ing quietly along when he gave a. tug at the rein, and horse and rider fell over. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
