Mr. George Kyte, in the House of Commons, has introduced an Old Age Pensions Bill ~>ti the lines of those, adopted in Australia and New Zealand. The Minister of Finance (Mr. White) opposed the measure, declaring that public opinion in Canada was not ready for such action.
