SOLICITORS IN TROUBLE
DUNEDIN, sth March. .Steps are being taken to make John Crisp, solicitor, late of Palmerston South, bankrupt, in respect to a debt of £400. It is understood that the .liabilities exceed :83000. The Law Society is taking independent action. CHRISTCHURCH, sth March. Walter Shaw, solicitor, of i Timaru, at present serving a term of imprisonment for misappropriation of funds, was struck off the roll to-day on the application of the Law Society.
