RUSH TO HEAR LLOYD GEORGE. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) LONDON, 18th January. Over 50,000 applications have been received for tickets to hear Mr. Lloyd George's speech on tho rural question at Glasgow on 23rd January. Mr. Walter Long, speaking - at London, said that if the Chancellor was sincere in regard to land reforms he could pass a non-controversial measure in six months, creating an independent tribunal to fix the tenure, grant compensation, and provide protection from unreasonable leases.
