HERETAUNGA BOATING CLUB

The opening of the Heretaunga Boating Club, which, owing to bad weather) was postponed from last Saturday, will take place to-morrow, at' 3 p.m. The fleet will assemble at the end of the Petone Wharf, when the commodore (Mr. J. A. Macdonald) will declare the season open. In connection with the opening two races will be field, one for 18-footers and one for 14-footers. These will take place immediately after the opening. Mrs. Macdonald (wife of the commodore) will fire the starting guns.
