CIVIL SERVICE CLUB. ' The • eighth annual meeting of the Civil Service Amateur Sports Club was held last night. Mr. A. Marryatt was in tho chair. The annual report and balance-sheet, a precis of which has already appeared in The Posfr, was read and adopted. On the motion of Mr. Carter, an additional rule was adopted, providing for the appointment of an honorary assistantsecretary. , Officers were elected as follow for tho ensuing year :— Patron, Sir, Joseph Ward; president, Mr. D.
