PETONE RIFLE CLUB
The annual meeting of the Petone Defence Rifle Club was held at Lower Hutt last night. Mr. J. M'Lauchlan presided. The report (Already published) and the balance-sheet were adopted. The receipts for the year, as shown by the balance-sheet, were £87 19s 4d and the expenditure £83 9s Bd, leaving a credit balance of £4 9s Bd. The assets exceeded the liabilities by £11 19s Bd. Officers were elected for the ensuing year as follows :—Patron, Mr. W. A. Grace; president, Mr. S. V. Burridge; deputy-president, Mr. R. Flaws; vicepresidents, Messrs. C. Trevethick, G. A. Chapman, T. M. Wilford, M.P., L. W. Ludwig, E. P. Rishworth, E. P Bunny. V. Riddiford, A. Ballinger, T. Ballinger, C. Hollard, F. Jenness, W. C. James, J. Brassel, W. Judd, H. J. Palmer, R. Dwyer, Rubin King. J. Ingram, B. C. Warnes, R. Quinn, J. Quirk, R. Hancock, and W. G. Lodder; secretary, Mr. G. Hogg, assistant secretary," Mr. Eric Hogg"; treasurer, Mr. S. Knight; committee, Messrs. H. F. Ayson, A. Selwood, <j. R. Morris, T. W. Warburton, C. Buckingham.
