RESULT OF ELECTIONS. REFORMERS IN~A MAJORITY. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— -Copjtithti < LONDON, 7fch March. The Municipal Reformers were sue*" cessftil at the triennial London county elections, gaining five seats. The Progressives made a vigorous effort , to oust the Reformers, alleging that the tramways were endangered and that the Reformers had not fulfilled their promises of economy. There were eleven wonieti candidates and one was elected. Tho Reformers gained nine and the Progressives two, making the Reformers sixty-seven and tho Progres&ives fiftyone. Mr. Cyril Jackson was defeated for Limehouse. He expected to be elected an alderman.
