ST. PATRICK'S DAY
The" programme of events for the St. Patrick's Day Celebrations to be held at Newtown Park, on Monday, 17th March, has now been completed. The Usual procession will consist of the Military Citdets from the Marist Brothers' Schools of Thorndon i;nd Te Aro, St. Vincent's, St. Anne's, and St. Patrick's College Senior Cadets, together with the members of the various Hibernian Societies and members of the Catholic Club headed by the Waterside Workers' Band. The Catholic School children will be carried free of charge on double-decker tramcars. Th*» programme contains items of. national interest, and the Irish jigs Bhould as usual prove to be the star items on the programme. >
