On Monday next at 2 p.m., at their rooms, under instructions from a lady who has left Wellington, Messrs. J. H, Bethttne ahd Co. are selling her house* hold furniture. The furniture wUI be on view on the morning of tlie sale. On Tuesday, 18th inst., at 2.30 p.m., ab their rooms, they are submitting a, resi* dential property at Plimmerton, com* prising freehold land having a frontage of about 88ft to Exetev*Btveet, with an area of over a-quarter 8/cre, with sixroomed bungalow residence thereon. Ab the same time section. 29 in j. A. Mason's estate, Lower Hutt, is being offered; this has a frontage of 43ft 6in> to Main-road, and cohtains an area of 20.3 perches. On. the same day, under instructions from Mrs. Mary Hannah Buxton, the firm are submitting a property near Manakau, comprising 8826 acres and 2 roods. On the came day there is also being submitted a central property, ThorftdonTJuay, comprising freeliold land, with a frontage of 56ft by a depth varying from 85ft to 90ft, back measurement 46ft 3in, on which Btand three two story residences. The firm also advertise the sale of Sir John Findlay's library on Wednesday and Thursday, 19th and 20th inst., commencing each day at 1 p.m. The list of 3500 volumes embraces books on all subjects. Catalogues are now being prepared, and will be posted to any address on application. On Thursday, 10th April,' at 2.^0 p.m., Messrs. Bethttne and Co. will sell a property at Karon, in Hatton* street. The firm insert an amended lieb of business and residential properties which they have on their books for pri* vabe sale, aho houses to let, both furnished and unfurnished, offices, and store room accommodation. Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Company will hold a eale on Tuesday at the reßi* dence of Mr. R. Millar, No. 9, bostonterrace, off Aro-etreet, the sale commencing at 1.30 p.m. On Wednesday, at their room, 26, Brandon-street, commencing ab 1.30 p.m., they will hold a sale of house' hold effects, including two pianos. A sale will also be hold on behalf of Sir John Findlay at his residence, "Wai» hemo/' Boulcott-terrace, commencing next Thursday and Friday ab 10.30 a.m. The contents of 14 rooms will be offered, and include a grand Schwechten piano.} also a JBIOO Lipp piano; a 'cello, by Lupot; pianola and records, and a collection of oil and water colours, etc. Catalogues may be obtained on applies* tion. Messrs. Harcourt and Co. will sell at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, a catalogue of household furniture. The furnituve will be on view on the morning of the eale. On Wednesday, 9th April, by order of the mortgagee, they will sell the property known as No. 91, DanieUtreet, Newtown, being Lot 2, part of allotment No. 20, part of section 839 on the plan of the city of Wellington, containing ? rooms. An amended selection of properties for sale is aho inserted. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. will hold a sale of furniture, including an Uprighb Grand piano, on the premises No. 67. Aro-strerfc, on Monday next, ab 1.30 o^clock, on account of Mr. Beits. On Wednesday next, at 10 o'clock, at their rooms, they will hold a large sak of oak furnishings. On Friday next, at their rooms, they will sell 300 pictures. Messrs. Thomson and Brown, auctioneers, will hold a sale of a property situated No. 29, Arthur-street, which is suitable, for a factory or warehouse site j also a residential section situated. Buick Estate, Petc-ne. Both properties will be offered by auction at tho firm's rooms, 105, Customhouse-quay, on 12th March, at 2.30 p.m. Thompson Bros., Ltd., will Bell at their auction rooms, Blair-street', on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., two horses broken to saddle and harness.
