RUNAWAY TRAIN
ONE MAN KILLED; OTHERS INJURED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.—Copyrlght. MELBOURNE, 26th Feb. A fatal accident occurred at Yarra Junction. An engine with ten trucks, belonging to the Powell Wood Process Company, was mounting an incline when two trucks, one containing sixteen of the company's employees, broke away. Six of the men jumped out before the train gathered momentum. After travelling at a mad pace for some distance the train overturned, and Michael Curtain, one of the occupants, was killed. Another man named Francis Flynn was seriously hurt, and eight others slightly injured. ANOTHER VICTIM DIES. (Received February 26, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Flynn, a. victim of the railway accident, is dead.
