NO CRIMINAL BUSINESS
ANOTHER PAIR OF WHITE GLOVES. (B¥ TELEGRAM— -PRESS ASSOCIATION.) INVERCARGILL.This Day. The Supreme Court opened 10-day. There was no criminal business, and his Honour Sir Joshua Williams wa« presented with a pair of white gloves. The Crown Prosecutor said that was the fourth occasion during recent years that no crimnal cases had been set before the Court. Sir Joshua Williams said it was highly satisfactory that this district and the whole of Otago should be free from serious crime. "I am glad to cay that the habitual crimnal does not find the climate of Otago and Southland suited to him. What is the exact reason that there sh&uld bo so little crime here and so much unfortunately in other parts of the Dominion it is difficult-to say."
