The Government is financing further explorations in the Arctic regions by Mr. Stefansson. One of tho objects of Stefansson's expedition • will be to raise the British flag on many unexplored islands. [The American traveller, Mr. Stefansson, returned south in the Bummer of 1912, after completing four years' investigations oh the Arctic coasts of Canada, during which he visited a number of tribes of remarkably white Eskimo on the shores of Coronation Gulf and the ihterior of Victoria Island.]
