LIBERAL CAUCUS AT OTTAWA
PROBABLE OPPOSITION. OTTAWA, 7th December. A Liberal caucus was held to determine the attitude of the party on the Navy question. Ife is understood that opposition will be offered to Mr. Borden's Bill and that an amendment will be moved favouring a Canadian-built navy, or that Canada should maintain three Dreadnoughts to herself, relieving the Motherland of the cost of their upkeep.
