BEFORE ADRIANOPLE
FURIOUS BOMBARDMENT. SUMMONS TO YIELD REJECTED. (Received December 6, 8 a.m.) SOFIA, 6th December. There was a furious bombardment at Adrianople from 6 o'clock On Tuesday night onward. Chukri Pasha rejected the final summons, to yield, declaring that he would not surrender without orders. At midnight came the notification of the armistice j Prior tb the armistice the Bulgarians captured important atrategic positions northward of Gallipoli.
