FIRE AT MASTERTON

(it nvtasntn—trtoiMj to tat rout.) MASTERTON, This Day. One of the oldest buildings in Masterton was destroyed by fire between 12 and 1 o'clock this morning. The house, which was a two-story building, was leased by the proprietor of the Club Hotel, and was used as sleeping apartments for members of the staff. The fire had a good hold of the building before the brigade arrived, and although the blaze was quickly got under, the house was practically destroyed, with the contents. The. origin of the outbreak has not been discovered, and it is not known whether there is any insurance on the building.
