EMPLOYEES' PICNIC
The'annual outing of the employees of Cole's Cash Drapery Co. was held at the Taita on Wednesday afternoon. The winners of the various competitions were as under : Ladies' running race, Miss E. Bennett; egg and spoon race (ladies). Miss Watson ; ladies' sack race — seniors Miss Weight, juniors Miss Fox; ladies' hobble skirt race, Miss Fox; young ladies' running race, Miss A. Patching; men's running race, Mr. Rowntree; wjieelbarrow race, Messrs. Anderson and Milwood ; egg and spoon r/kce (men's), Master Glavin; youths' running race, Mr. Raine; gents.' sack race, Master Glavin.
