JUNIOR. ST. AUGUSTINE'S {3) v. VICTORIA COLLEGE A (1). Victoria College won the initial ''bully," and play was removed to St. Augustine's circle. Thfe full-blacks were too good, however, an 3 cleared easily, i Play was up and down for some time, and was then again in the Saints' circle, where Parker scored after a tussle in front of the goal. St. Augustine's team livened up, and Victoria College conceded a penalty corner, from which J. M'Ewen notched a good goal. Shortly after' MM v 'Ewen went right through the opposing, batiks, and scored . a 'good goal. The spell ended shortly afterwards. "St. Augustine's 2}2 } Victoria College 1. " On resuming Victoria College immediately invaded their opponents' territory, and had them penned there for nearly ten minutes, only the good defence of the backs saving a score. M'Jiwen eventually broke away, and from a good pass Bennett scored. The of the spell, save for a couple of runs by M'Ewen and Bennett, was within the Saints' half. Play ended with Victoria College attacking. St. AugUßtme's 3, Victoria College 1. Messrs. M'Kenzie and Gill had charge of the game. Wellington (5) defeated Gregg's (1), after a fast and interesting game.
