ATHLETIC (27) v. NEWTOWN (7). In a match for the Sigall Championship Shield, between Athletic and Newtown on Saturday, the former won out by 27 points to 7. Tries were scored for the winners by Bradley (2), Baskeviikv Weaver, Wilson, Kelly, and Bourke, Bradley converting three. Ferris scored for Newtown, and J. Spencer landed two penalty goals. The final will be played next Saturday between the winners of heats on Saturday.
