A YEAR'S FIGURES. By Telegraph.— Prew Association..— Copyright. (Received September 21, 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. For the year ended 30th June last the State railways and tramways carried over 337,000,000 passengers. There were 513 accidents on the railways, including 68 fatal, and 1166 on the tramways, including 28 fatal. The great majority of the accidents were through personal carelessness or trespassing on the lines.
