IMPERIAL DEFENCE COUNCIL
NEW ZEALAND REPRESENTATION SUGGESTION. By Telegraph,— Prew Association.— Copyright. (Received September 20, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, 19th September. The newspaper Globe appro^s of the suggestion that New Zealand should be represented on the Imperial Defence Committee, through the Minister for External Affa*s. This would, the Globe thinks, be an appreciable step towards the Federation of the Empire. New Zealand's proposal may well solve one of the difficulties of the problem. [In the House of Representatives on Tuesday last Mr. Myers, as reported in The Post, suggested the desirability of New Zealand being represented on the Imperial Defence Committee, and the Prime Minister stated that proposals on the subject would be submitted to Parliament next session.]
