STRIKERS FIGHT SENSATIONAL CONFLICTS
FURTHER TROUBLE FEARED. By Telegraph.— PreM Association.— Copyright. NEW YORK, 19th September. Sensational conflicts between strikers and the State officials have occurred at Bingham Canon, a mining camp on- the Rio Grande Weßtern Railway, twentyeight miles south-west of Salt Lake City, Utah, where rich gold, silver, lead, and copper mines are worked. Five thousand miners, mostly foreigners, who struck for higher wages, secured arms and fired on all who approached the mines. Deputy sheriffs overpowered and dis< armed a number of the strikers. Further trouble is feared.
