Pirani (representing the Manawatu Master Printers' Association) was assured by the President that his association, which had not been cited, would not be joined as a party to a Dominion award without having an opportunity of being heard. , Mr. M'Dougall, representing the Typographical Federation, said he was prepared to place documentary evidence from the employers' side before the court to the effect that there was no objection to a Dominion award. Mr. Pirani said "his association had passed a resolution objecting to a Dominion award. > The greater part of to-day was occupied with evidence" regarding the handwork section of the dispute. Mr. Pryor, on behalf ot the employers, said they would agree to the union's request for a "caH'*of 2s 6d in the jobbilig trade ; they had already conceded it in the machine section. (Proceeding.)
