THE COMET
A SUGGESTION COMMENTED UPON By Telegrapn,--PreM Association.— Copyright. SYDNEY, 19th September. The Government Astronomer, commenting upon the suggestion that the conidt lately observed by Mr. Gale is not a new one, but that which was discovered by Westphal in 1852, says it is too early yet to attempt a comparison of the two. If, however, the elements computed are oven approximately correct, then this cannot be Westphal's comet.
